Mobile Web Design is hot right now, and tablet design is next up. But, lest we forget, we also have users using larger screens, 1600 pixels and up to true HD at 1920 pixels. For them, we can and probably should be doing large screen display made for devices with screens larger than 1600, it would be cool, and for many of my clients if that sells two or three jobs, then it was all worth it.
